Built for the surgical team.
The short-unit format is a deliberate choice — you can knock out a credit between cases or in the parking deck without committing to a half-day course.
Residents, fellows, and the rest of the OR team can use the library too, but the activity is designed first for the attending who needs to close their ACCME year cleanly.
From the clinicians who use it.
CSurgeries has become an essential tool in my professional development. The ability to review stepwise approaches, especially for high-stakes procedures, has directly increased my confidence and safety in the OR. The integration of CME credits makes it both a practical educational resource and a streamlined way to maintain my professional requirements.

The questions surgeons actually ask.
Will my state board / hospital accept these credits?
You'll earn AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™ — the standard category recognized by U.S. state medical boards, the ABMS member boards, and most hospital re-credentialing offices. We can't speak for every institution, but the credit type is the one virtually every CME requirement is denominated in.
What if I miss a question?
Retake the set as many times as you like. We don't ding you for first-attempt errors — the activity is designed to be educational, not punitive.
When does the 20-credit cap reset?
January 1. The 20-credit ceiling reflects what ACCME allows from a single platform per year via Internet Point-of-Care learning — it's a regulatory standard, not a CSurgeries limit.
How do I get my certificate?
Open your dashboard, click Download aggregate certificate. One PDF lists every credit you earned that year, with the activity titles, dates, and our accreditation block. We also send it automatically every December.
What counts as a "CME video"?
Look for the red CME tag in the video library. The tagged subset has been through the question-set workflow with CineMed; uncategorized videos are still great for reference, just not credit-bearing yet.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Memberships can be cancelled from your account at any time and you keep access through your paid-through date. Credits already earned stay on your record permanently.

Accreditation that goes on the chart.
CSurgeries delivers CME through a partnership with CineMed, an accredited provider under the ACCME (physicians), ACPE (pharmacists), and ANCC (nurses) umbrellas.
