With extensive experience and leadership roles in the field of Aerodigestive care, Dr. Deepak Mehta has become an international authority on pediatric airway and swallowing disorders.
Having earned his Otolaryngology degree at Bangalore University and Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery degree at Mysore University, Dr. Mehta took up residency in Otolaryngology at the So. Trent Otolaryngology Programme. He then completed his fellowship in Otolaryngology at Cincinnati Children's Hospital and Medical Center
He is currently serving as a Professor of Otolaryngology at Baylor College of Medicine and as Director of the Pediatric Aerodigestive Center at Texas Children's Hospital. He has also served as President of the Society of Ear Nose and Throat Advances in Children.
Dr. Mehta's contributions in the field of Aerodigestive care include approximately 100 peer-reviewed publications and numerous academic book chapters. His expertise encompasses managing complex airway surgeries, pediatric swallowing disorders, head and neck masses, and General Otolaryngology.
