Educational Programs
ASPO delivers hands-on and virtual learning experiences throughout the year, including:- Annual Meeting (COSM) – flagship scientific and clinical education event
- Summer Meeting – training, networking, and leadership development
- Pre-AAO Seminar – targeted learning tied to AAO-HNSF programming
- Virtual Simulation Bootcamp – skill-building for trainees
- Live Simulation Bootcamp (in progress)
- APP Focus Track (in progress – launching at a future Summer Meeting)
Grant programs
Centralized Otolaryngology Research Efforts (CORE) Grant: a collaboration of several societies, foundations, and industry supporters focused on providing support for research in the field of otolaryngology-head and neck surgery. 2026 Available Awards
- ASPO Research Career Development Award - $40,000, one or two years
- ASPO Research Grant - $20,000, one year
- ASPO Dustin Micah Harper Recurrent Respiratory Papillomatosis (RRP) Research
Grant - $10,000, one year
Research Support
- ASPO actively invests in research that advances pediatric otolaryngology.
- Through participation in the CORE Grant Program, members can pursue competitive funding opportunities including:
