Bio
Dr. Yadav is an interventional cardiologist and Associate Professor in the Division of Cardiovascular Medicine at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. He joined UAMS in 2024 to lead the Nuclear Cardiology and Vascular Medicine Program and practices at UAMS Health locations in Little Rock and Maumelle. His clinical work focuses on coronary artery disease, peripheral vascular disease, structural heart disease, vascular medicine, and minimally invasive cardiovascular interventions.
Dr. Yadav completed fellowship training in cardiovascular disease at Tulane University School of Medicine and fellowship training in interventional and structural cardiology at the University of Arizona College of Medicine. He completed residency training in internal medicine at Cook County Hospital and earned his medical degree from SMS Medical College. His board certifications include Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Disease, Interventional Cardiology, Echocardiography, Nuclear Cardiology, and Registered Physician in Vascular Interpretation (RPVI).
His professional interests include interventional cardiology, vascular medicine, peripheral endovascular intervention, nuclear cardiology, and cardiovascular quality improvement. In addition to his academic and clinical responsibilities, Dr. Yadav serves as Chief Editor for Interventional Cardiology at CSurgeries. He has outlined a vision of creating a peer-reviewed educational video repository that bridges evidence-based cardiovascular care and real-world cath lab practice, with emphasis on complex coronary and endovascular procedures. He also serves in cardiovascular quality leadership roles at UAMS and co-founded CardioFit.ai, a digital cardiovascular health initiative focused on preventive cardiology, telemedicine, and patient engagement.
