G Tube Balloon Endoscopic

For a primary low-profile (button) tube placement, the abdominal wall thickness should be measured using a sizer provided by the manufacturer and an appropriate length button selected. Furthermore, in the case of a button a 7 Fr vascular dilator can be placed through the lumen of the button to facilitate passing over the wire and entering the gastric lumen. After visual confirmation of balloon position, the endoscope can be removed.
