Hydrofascia Release – Shoulder/Thoracic

Ultrasound-guided hydrofascial release of the shoulder and thoracic region, demonstrating the fascial planes over the trapezius and supraspinatus, with in-plane needle placement and hydrodissection using local anesthetic plus D5W for myofascial pain.

This procedure was performed by Arun Kalava, MD, EDRA, a board-certified anesthesiologist and interventional pain physician in Tampa, FL, fellowship-trained in Regional Anesthesia and Acute Pain Medicine at Mayo Clinic. Dr. Kalava is the Founder and Chairman of the American Society for Post Surgical Pain (ASPSP).
