This video demonstrates the cadaveric harvest of the internal mammary artery and vein for use in head and neck microvascular reconstruction.

Harvest of the internal mammary artery and vein for microvascular anastomosis.
Indications for this technique may include the need to perform microvascular anastomosis for breast reconstruction, chest wall wall reconstruction, or for head and neck reconstruction in the vessel depleted neck.
Contraindications for this procedure may include prior internal mammary vessel harvest, prior cardiac or thoracic surgery, anatomic anomalies of the thoracic cavity and associated structures.
