Ultrasound-guided cryoneurolysis of the intercostal nerve, demonstrating needle placement and ice-ball formation at the nerve for management of chronic thoracic and chest-wall pain.
This procedure was performed by Arun Kalava, MD, EDRA, a board-certified anesthesiologist and interventional pain physician in Tampa, FL, trained and certified in cryoneurolysis by the technique’s originators.
