Dr. Rula Mualla
Assistant Professor of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery at LSU Health Sciences Center.
Dr. Mualla completed her Otolaryngology residency at OHSU in Portland, OR, followed by a fellowship in Head and Neck Surgical Oncology and Microvascular Reconstruction at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. Her clinical interests include endocrine and oncologic surgery, with a focus on transoral robotic surgery and microvascular reconstruction.
Dr. Sagar Kansara
Assistant Professor of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery at LSU Health Sciences Center
Dr. Kansara completed his fellowship in Head and Neck Oncologic and Reconstructive Surgery at the University of California – San Francisco. Dr. Kansara’s research interests include neoadjuvant therapy and treatment deintensification in HPV+ oropharyngeal cancer. He is board-certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery.
Dr. William Ryan
Professor at the University of California-San Francisco, specializing in head and neck oncologic surgery.
Dr. Ryan has extensive expertise in transoral robotic surgery, sialendoscopy, and regional reconstruction. He is actively involved in research and has authored over 95 peer-reviewed journal articles.
Dr. Sue Yom
Irwin Mark Jacobs and Joan Klein Jacobs Distinguished Professor in Head and Neck Cancer Radiation Oncology at UCSF
Dr. Yom is an expert in radiation techniques for HPV+ oropharyngeal cancer and has published extensively in the field. Her research interests include clinical trials, novel imaging, and quality of life outcomes.
